What people are saying about our tours

  • "Had an awesome experience with Christopher! Pick-up was on time, and Christopher checked-in on what I've already seen, captured, and experienced to avoid repetition and to make sure the tour would add to the overall Yellowstone photography experience. As a hobbyist photographer, I have little technical experience and knowledge but he was able to give on-spot photo recommendations (shutter speed, aperture, framing, and so on), landscape photography tips for my next destination, and even long term ideas on sustaining the practice, including storage and editing -- so much insights based on technical knowledge and experience. For the tour itself, Christopher definitely knows where to go for the best chance to encounter the wildlife. Two definite stand outs were the very close encounter with a bison on the road, and following a cayote (who we think was Limpy) for a good distance Overall, I had a fantastic time!"

  • "I can not recommend Chris enough!! I took a Yellowstone trip with some family photographers (i am not lol) and Chris helped my mom rig a setup together or me, so that I’d be involved. I am in a wheelchair and Chris made sure I WAS and FELT 100% involved in the trip! This fact is not something everyone would have done; that, for me, makes using Chris for your photography trips a no brainer!!! He goes above and beyond! Did i mention i. Got some amazing photos too!!"

  • "Chris’ tour of Yellowstone was great. He knew all best spots for wildlife photo opportunities. I left with some amazing photos of bison, moose, coyote, and big horn. Chris is great too - I had a blast talking with him during the drive. Thanks again!"

  • “My Mom and I traveled to Yellowstone in February 2024 to do a private workshop with Chris. It was excellent! Chris was knowledgable of the area, wildlife that we might see, and camera and photography related questions. We made daily itineraries, but had the flexibility to adjust based on how the day was going, or if any wildlife had been spotted that we might want to adjust too. I could also not think of a better person to spend 12 hours with. We loved it so much we booked another private workshop in September 2024! Looking for forward to seeing another season of Yellowstone with one of the best photographers out there!”

  • “This was a wonderful trip. Seeing the wild in winter was amazing. We could just stop (in the pullout areas) whenever we saw herds. The opportunity to take pictures in a safe environment as long as we wanted was great. I learned a lot of tips from Christopher and improved my skills. He asked about what I wanted to learn and built on those skills. A very worthwhile trip and money well spent!”

  • “Chris went above and beyond to create a wonderful experience for me! We got some truly excellent shots, he helped me to capture the moments perfectly and use the camera much more accurately. We had great conversations and he was always helpful. All three days were different and I would not have had nearly as good as an experience had I not gone with him. We captured eagles, ravens, moose, beautiful blue birds, fox, coyotes and elk. Everything I wanted to see we did see and I would love to come back in a different season for another trip with Chris. He is professional, reliable and easygoing, I would highly recommend.”

  • ”Chris is a very knowledgeable and experienced photographer. He has a personality that is warm and inviting and he is a really fun person to be around. I attended the Acadia workshop back in May of 2016 and even though I had an idea of what to expect, Chris far exceeded those expectations. I knew a little bit about astrophotography as I had learned how to take photos of the Milky Way prior to going on this workshop, but I left with a digital card full of much more. I learned how to take an exposure for the Milky Way and a longer exposure for the foreground and then blend them together in Photoshop to create one stunning image. In fact, the image I created still remains today as one of my all time favorite nighttime images ever. I also learned about focus stacking, which was my first exposure to this workflow. Chris introduced me to timelapse photography as well and how to use LRTimelapse, a 3rd party software, designed specifically for processing timelapse videos. As an extra special bonus Chris made himself available after the workshop ended in case I had questions on anything I learned during the workshop. I highly recommend attending one of his workshops if you can; I guarantee you won't be disappointed!”

  • ”I joined one of Chris' photography tours in Yellowstone in Sept 2023 as a complete amateur. Chris is an outstanding teacher and incredibly patient so no question is ever too basic. He's also very good fun and has a great respect for wildlife. He's extremely knowledgeable about all things photography but also has a great understanding of weather and the night sky - plus great local knowledge of Yellowstone including likely locations of animals and general epic landscapes (plus where to get the best cinnamon buns). He'll keep you safe, make you laugh and teach you everything you need to know about photography - I'd highly recommend any of his tours.”

  • “This was our first time at Yellowstone. I would not change a thing as to who we used for the Tour; Wildscape Adventures. Chris Georgia is the BEST! He is knowledgeable with everything and anything, from where to get a good cup of coffee to where we would see wildlife! He also respects the rules of the park and the safety of us and the animals! A 10 Star rating!! We are already booked to work with him again in the Fall.. THANK YOU, Chris!!!”

  • “Christopher is a master at night photography, astro photography, time lapse photography, videography, landscape photography etc. He is also a great teacher. My photography skills have been elevated exponentially by Christopher and I left his workshop with many advanced photography skills and incredible images. I also enjoyed the time meeting other photographers and being out in nature.”

  • ”I have been on this workshop not once but THREE times! The experience is amazing from the guided tours of Acadia National Park to the whole learning experience. I have learned how to photograph the Milky Way, and how to take time lapse photos of the clouds moving and the stars moving through time. I have produced panoramas of the Milky Way, multiple exposure shots of the Milky Way and how to merge photos into time lapse videos. The accommodations are close to the park and very convenient for food and shopping. Not only did I learn camera settings and tips for taking these photos but I learned post-processing editing that has made my photos the best they can be. Christopher is an expert and he has given me invaluable photography skills that apply beyond astrophotography. I highly recommend his workshops.”

  • ”I was a student in Chris’s Acadia workshop several years ago, it was wonderful. It dramatically improved the way I shoot night sky work. Chris really knows his stuff and shares it in a very hands-on way that makes it easy to grasp. Acadia is gorgeous, with deep dark night skies, classic New England foliage, and a gorgeous sea coast. Plus Chris is a lot of fun and makes the time together a real blast.”

    — Matthew B

  • ”Chris is an awesome instructor! He’s calm, knowledgeable, and you couldn’t find a better person to open your eyes to Night Sky/Astrophography.. His process from pre-shoot lectures/lessons to post editing is phenomenal. Highly recommend Christopher!!”

    — Thomas L

  • ”It was amazing to see the Milky Way. I was able to see such a fantastic view with the help and guidance of Chris. Plus, the weather cooperated well. We were lucky to have clear skies without clouds on the first night. It was fun to photograph the night sky.”
