Now Booking: Acadia Night Skies Astrophotography Tours for 2025

Wildscape Adventure is excited to announce our Acadia Night Skies Astrophotography Tours in Acadia National Park! These immersive two-night experiences are designed for photographers eager to capture the stars, the Milky Way, and Maine’s dramatic coastline—all under some of the darkest skies on the East Coast.

Why Photograph in Acadia?

Acadia offers an incredibly rare mix of rugged coastline, granite cliffs, Atlantic tides, and minimal light pollution. It’s one of the few places in the U.S. where you can photograph the Milky Way rising over ocean waves, tide pools reflecting starlight, or moonlit mountains, all within a single night.

Whether you're an astrophotography enthusiast or just getting started, these tours provide the perfect environment to learn, shoot, and grow your craft.

What You Can Expect

Each tour is led by professional astrophotographer Christopher Georgia, who brings years of experience photographing national parks and guiding small group workshops.

Here’s what you’ll experience:

Hands-On Instruction: Learn how to plan, shoot, and process stunning nightscapes using techniques like the NPF rule, focus stacking, and image blending.

Iconic Locations: Shoot from Acadia’s most photogenic night spots—Eagle Lake, Otter Cliffs, Sand Beach, Jordan Pond—chosen for both sky quality and composition.

New Moon Timing: Tours are only offered around the new moon for the darkest skies possible and maximum Milky Way visibility.

Small Group Experience: With limited spots per session, you’ll receive individualized attention and plenty of space to compose your frames.

Designed for All Skill Levels

Whether you're building your first astrophotography portfolio or refining your advanced techniques, our Acadia tours are tailored to help you make the most of every frame. We’ll guide you through everything from exposure settings and focusing in the dark to post-processing in Lightroom and Photoshop.
